Garytown

  • Remain only sane man left in crazy world—done. This should also cover your character point about being genre-savvy, if you remember what I mean. That sounds suspicious but it really is not.
  • Long-term goal: SAFE HAVEN FOR HUMANITY.
    PROGRESS BAR: [*…………………………………………………………………..]
  • Speaking with Luddites to pick cream of the crop and searching for Shire-like Arcadians—mostly party-based even though you have your own angle certainly. Everyone can likely agree on “preservation of non-cosmic-horror-inducing-knowledge.” You will find you get along with the minority technophobe population as well as Rich gets along with the technoloathe population. That is not really an accurate description but it rhymes. But yes, you and Rich came to realize (even in the out-of-game chatter, but certainly in-game) that though the Luddites have clear factions, they all do basically get along and are more or less the sort of people you do not object to still existing. Hmm, convenient, is there more to this? (If you want to spend some free time with the you-leaning people in the Luddite zone, you could undoubtedly take some sort of NPC-based Edge, but I have no idea if you would be interested in that.)
  • {{{WHERE ARE KORA AND CORINNE?}}} Oh, there they are! Wait, those are humanoid plant creatures attacking the house.
  • {{{GARY’S LIST}}} since I do not remember what this is, apparently we will do it in-game.
  • KURT, DIG UP INFORMATION TO KEEP NEO-NORMINGTON FROM STAGNATING! We should check in with Kurt for that. You mentioned farming manuals, ironworking techniques, stopping a backslide to savage barbarism/barber-ism, et cetera, as truly modern techniques are not going to be feasible for a while. Who knows what kind of while?
  • “Can we do this first?” Sure, let me check what “this” is. Oh, right, county/countrywide exploration. Yeah, that gets the brackets. See: {{{}}} You will certainly have heard some things, though, and you saw some things as well—walking down the ruins of I-55 you only saw that one tent city near LaSalle/Peru as far as expected civilization, and you have not heard anyone talk about Champaign/Urbana, Peoria, or Springfield as though they are extant areas, nor C/U and Springfield really at all. Peoria, though … {{{}}}!!!!!
