  • {{{TALK TO THE MILITARY RE: TRAPPING CARAVANS IN THE CITY BAD FOR COMMERCE.}}} Some of what Kurt will learn will be relevant here too, but you talking to them will take place before Kurt finds what he finds certainly.
  • You “check out people you know to see how they fared,” and though I obviously do not know everyone you know, I can do some broad strokes. Many of the State Farm buildings are still standing, and people whose homes collapsed or were destroyed who worked at State Farm might be found there if they are still alive. Maida seems to have been part of a larger Filipino Exodus, as you have not seen a single Filipino in town, and you knew all of them, obviously. Darrin W. is guaranteed to show up because seriously who does not love his in-character rehabilitation?
  • {{{CHECKING OUT CACHES}}} You (will eventually use/used) the old OUXP map to try to find those last few remaining points of interest, but that did not turn up anything you did not already know about, nor did any of the old safehouses have anything of interest (if they were even still there).
  • WORK WITH SHAUN ON MOTORCYCLE: That is a longer-term thing, but I wanted to mention it. He certainly seems to possess the know-how to “put sidecars on motorcycles” and the like, though Jake … if he has actually talked about what he thinks he can do … might be a promising engineer/mechanic, too. Lucas and Anish’s stakes in the motorcycle will likely be irrelevant as Lucas is a frail old man being carried by Hoosegow and Anish is … you know. Shaun, though, might fight you with a knife.
  • {{{GET THE GENERAL LAY OF THE TOWN}}} Obviously this is ongoing, but you already had the idea from looking around and some casual conversations you overheard that the town is pretty heavily factionalized.
  • Oh god look at how many things Rich asked
  • Nurse Anish back to health—I think one of the last things that happened was you making him not-crazy? Or if not, uhh, try that. I already know what will/did happen, though.
  • Gun Shop/Pawn Shops/Store Credit: There is basically one central “trading post” in the police-controlled areas, at least as far as you have heard. You can draw your own conclusions as to whether the other factions have black market things going on (though are all markets not black now, indeed?). I will remind you to check your party inventory and try to not destabilize the entire world economy when trying to trade.
  • {{{LOOKING FOR CULTISTS}}} other than the fact that your searches of the safe-area OUXP-safehouses turned up an astounding lack of anything, that is obviously in-game worthy.
  • Improve current socio-political climate: Oh, there is plenty you can do. Depending on what kind of world you want to make, you could slaughter everyone who does not support the remnants of town/military authority! As for “boss monster” speculation, {{{}}}
  • {{{Check out Champaign/Danville/South Beloit/et cetera:}}} You know how it is. Though like Kurt, you have not heard anyone talk about Champaign certainly, though you have not specifically asked either.
  • Stop at/help local settlements, do trading, try to set up working HAM radio or similar: I certainly imagine re-establishing global communications to be an entirely reasonable goal. Why has no-one else done this yet?!?! This goes along with trying to get areas to a stable “Steam Age” tech level or better.
  • Long-term Philippines … yeah, we might have to take care of that one in-game. I think we should cover this up.
  • {{{Setting up barter system/salvaging old radio stations/exploring countryside/finding people from before the tomb}}} SOUND LIKE FUN ADVENTURES TO ME!!!!!!!
